So today a month after Connect IT is the official launch of an awesome new book by Scott Belsky, Making Ideas Happen. For those that attended Connect IT you might remember that all the attendee bags included a card promoting the book, and that each of our great speakers got a pre-release copy of the book.

I’m happy to share with you that today is the official launch of Scott’s book, and that he’s also currently organizing a very cool conference, the 99% Conference, which is also all about making ideas happen.

Scott got in touch with us during the planning for Connect IT, and he helped us make event even better. We were very happy to have him offer us some support for next year’s Connect IT Conference as well.

2010 for us was the year of “Design + Align”, we brought together really leading edge ideas and trends to a unique way to many different audiences, and we really focused on a set of tools and ideas that targeted professional individuals and teams: Personal Branding, Business Model Generation, & Social Business Design. It was also first year ever that the Connect IT conference has sold out. Because of that we are only thinking of something bigger for next year.
