About Connect IT
Ontario’s premier student-run IT conference.
Connect IT is a one-day conference that engages students in the fields of Business and Information Technology. Run by the students of Ontario’s largest Business Technology Management program, we aim to engage students on a wide variety of issues related to IT, business, and society by hosting Canadian industry professionals and thought leaders.
Since it’s founding in 2005, Connect IT has united like-minded visionaries from all over Ontario and ventured to encourage awareness and critical thinking amongst students, faculty and industry professionals through the use of keynote speakers, speaker panels, breakout sessions and networking sessions.
Digital Shadow: Identity in the Digital Age
Connect IT 2014 is proud to present Digital Shadow: Identity in the Digital Age - a look at the online trail generated by our actions. We will examine the global impact information technology has on our society. The security issues, measures, and consequences that come with information systems and our online activity will also be discussed.

Is Connect IT open to non-Ryerson students?
Yes! Connect IT encourages all students to apply, even if you’re not in a BTM program.
What is the cost to attend?
One ticket is $20.
Where can I purchase my ticket?
Tickets can be purchased through the Register tab on this site.
What should I wear to the conference?
The dress code is business formal. Remember, dress to impress!
Will food be provided?
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
